Filters

The last filter (g') missing in the SDSS filter set has finally arrived and was commissioned. Also, two narrow-band red-shifted Ly$\alpha$ filters (3920 and 4050 Å) were purchased in collaboration with the Science Institute of the University of Iceland, and are available for general use.

Currently, the set of filters allowing a full field of view (7.7'$\times$7.7') with MOSCA consist of:

• Wide band: SDSS u',g',r',i',z', Bessel U,B,V,R,I

• Medium band: Strömgren u,v,b,y

• Narrow band: 3930Å, 4050Å, H$\alpha$ narrow & wide
