Because of the problem with the wheel bearing NOTCam is currently warm. The next observing run is only in the second half of January, so this is a good opportunity to change the detector to the science array, but this depends on support from Preben Nørregaard (CUO).
The issues of the abort command and a new detector controller still remain.
