Data saving

As part of the upgrade of the data acquisition and archiving system we need to define the way the data is being saved. Currently the data for all the different instruments are saved in different directories but using the same prefix and images with the same name (but taken by different instruments) can exist. The current plan is to define separate file names for images from different instruments (e.g., ALob250001.fits for image taken with ALFOSC). One of the points to consider in any system are data reduction pipelines, calibration plans and service observing. E.g., do we provide a sub-directory for the reduce data, do we copy data taken as part of the calibration plan in separate directories, how do we provide the data on the ftp site for the service program, etc.
