Detector

Following the failure of CCD #15 it was replaced in Copenhagen with the old ALFOSC CCD #7 as replacement. This CCD is owned by the `Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía' and they very kindly granted permission to use it. It was successfully tested both warm and cold, and it has been used at the telescope without any problem. The main worry was the alignment of the CCDs in the mosaic. Preliminary tests show that the alignment is fairly good, but we have not been able to obtain any test data with very good seeing yet.

There were two observing runs that were scheduled during the time that MOSCA was not available. They were offered ALFOSC, to which the PIs agreed. Neither of these observing programs were very seriously affected by the change.
