General computer system

A plan for the implementation of a general backup & archive server has been made and will be implemented in the near future.

The computer room in the SLO was refurbished. A new rack was bought for the servers, along with a more powerful UPS.

Current a monitoring system for the UPS is being developed that in case of problems automatically sends an alarm and stops every critical computer at the NOT. This will also be extended to a general alarm system for other services (e.g., warnings about hard disks filling-up).
