FIES building

A new cooler was added to the FIES pre-room. Active cooling was necessary as simple air refreshing can not keep the temperature constant in summer. At the moment we are waiting for a proportional valve control to complete the system.

The three so-called Aarhus temperature sensors, which give the lowest noise reading, have been recently moved so that they read the room temperature near the ceiling, inside the white box and inside the black box. Looking at their readings it can be seen that the heating control of the instrument room is coping well while the outside temperature has fluctuated between about +10C and -2C.
