We have the pleasure to pre-announce an on-site Nordic Optical Telescope workshop to be held in

La Palma, Tue 7th - Fri 10th June 2022

Aims

to address the role of the Nordic Optical Telescope in the coming decade
to mark the transition to new owners - University of Turku and Aarhus University - and a new organization of the NOT
to commemorate Johannes Andersen and his importance to the NOT
to receive input from the user community for the longer term strategy

Content

Instrument upgrades and the future NTE instrument will be presented
A wide range of science talks - focusing on the current and future use of the NOT
The educational aspect of the NOT
Operations, support and observing modes
