| Short Description | The command sets the ALFOSC acquisition mode: manual or auto.
Manual is the normal interactive ALFOSC acquisition and the default when (re)starting the observing system.
Automatic requires no user interaction and works by WCS solving the acquisition image and offsets the telescope to place the target as defined by target coordinates in the slit. |
