- Run afternoon calibrations: fies-calibs -fib 1
Observing instructions
- On the Queue page, make sure the OB-generated observing script is written to disk, or else 'compile'
- Go to directory: cd ~/obs/scripts/68-021/ and do ls -lrt
- Start the requested OB generated script

There were possibly some thin clouds in the sky during the observations. Other than that the conditions were good. |

The target dimmed to near invincibility since the second FIES acquisition image, although it was clearly visible during the acquisition. I reran the script, and the same thing happened, but then I just let the script run. There were no clouds visible, and the guiding was working well, so I don't know what caused this. Nevertheless, the acquisition field did not move during the observations. I noticed this as there was a visible target in the top-right corner of the FIES acquisition image the whole time. |
