Programme EP and SVOM transients
Instrument ALFOSC
Time Allocation Trigger EP and SVOM transients
Total Nights 4.0

Total Time Spent 17:07 (hh:mm)
Proposal Date Time Type Targets Files Comments Status
69-811 2024-04-03 00:39 ToO EP240402a ALHd030064 - ALHd030071 Observed with seeing around 1 arcsec in z, 1.5 arcsec in r, and some thin clouds. No obvious detection of a counterpart in either band. Observed
69-811 2024-04-04 00:48 ToO LXT240402A ALHd040108 - ALHd040119 The ToO was observed at an elevation of roughly 75-85 degrees. Unexpectedly, seeing was better on lower elevations this time. Observed
69-811 2024-04-09 00:00 ToO EP240408a Target could not be observed all night due to very high winds. Failed
69-811 2024-04-14 00:15 ToO ep240414a ALHd140039 - ALHd140043 The target was observed during clear sky. Seeing was 1-5''-1.8''. The data is shared with program 68-302, and the time spent was split. Observed
69-811 2024-04-15 00:37 ToO ep240414a ALHd150066 - ALHd150078 During the observations, seeing started at 1.9'' and improved to 1.5''. The r' band observations showed some signal near the two stars of the source, but yesterday it was stronger. In summary, observed filling the requirements. The data was shared with program 68-302, so the marked time spent is only half of the observation's duration. Observed
69-811 2024-04-16 00:18 ToO ep240416a ALHd160428 - ALHd160430 Observed with clear, dusty skies and seeing around 1 arcsec. Observed
69-811 2024-04-17 00:38 ToO EP240414a ALHd170178 - ALHd170185 Observed through some clouds and variable seeing around 1-1.5 arcsec. Clouds were thin enough that we could see the target in the first image, but not necessarily easy to see in all of the exposures due to the moving clouds. Observed
69-811 2024-04-18 00:22 ToO EP240414a ALHd180212-ALHd180215 ; ALHd180228 - ALHd180232 Did not observe the original OB due to clouds being in front of the target for the entire night. Data from proposal 69-811 shared: Observed through thin clouds and seeing of around 1 arcsec. On the first attempt at 01:01 UT, we only took the first two filters because the clouds became very thick afterwards. We observed files ALHd180212-ALHd180215, from 01:01 to 01:19. On the second attempt at 2:18 U.T. when clouds were finally looking thinner, we tried again, and observed only the i-band and z-band. This produced files ALHd180228 - ALHd180232. The g-band was observed correctly on the first attempt on files ALHd180212-ALHd180213. Observed
69-811 2024-04-19 00:13 ToO EP240414a ALHd190189 - ALHd190198 Observed with thin clouds and variable seeing. Observed
69-811 2024-04-20 00:24 ToO EP240414a, EP240420a ALHd200058 - ALHd200066, ALHd200104 - ALHd200108 EP240414a: Data shared by program 68-302. Observed with clear skies and 1.3-1.6'' seeing. Although observations were attempted at the maximum distance possible from the moon, several of the exposures seem to be near the limit of sky-level saturation. EP240420a: Observed with clear skies and subarc seeing. Target had to be observed somewhat close to the moon but at first glance, it didn't seem to saturate. Data shared with 68-302. Observed
69-811 2024-04-23 00:00 ToO S240422ed NCHd230098 - NCHd230147 Observed with thin clouds and seeing around 1 arcsec. Most of the data (after the 4th frame) were taken in thick clouds and is useless. OB group set to failed. 29/4-2024 AAD. Failed
